Service Medals


When you want a Facility,Forest,Mine or Plantation in a port, you pay an amount of Reals/Doubloons to create each one. They must be available in the port you want it in though. This is where "Service Medals" come in.


When you "Invest" in a Facility,Forest,Mine or Plantation, that specific type of Facility,Forest,Mine or Plantation then becomes available to you in any port you want it. You still have to pay the creation price but are no longer restricted to ports that "allow" them.


The "Invest" Icon is available when in a port. You can either use the "Up Arrow" icon on the far right of the bottom menu; or can use the in-game key for the investment menu, which is the 'K' key.


Service Medals can also be used to invest in port benefits for a shipyard. Once invested these port benefits will be usable by any shipyard you own in any port.
